S

The most notable features in the base S include remote start, LED headlights, a versatile 60/40-split folding rear seatback, and an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen, voice recognition, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a six-speaker audio system. The Altima S also comes with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite, which compiles forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, a driver attention monitor, rear parking sensors, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, and reverse automatic braking.

SV

The SV receives plenty of hype-worthy additions, like proximity keyless entry, push-button start, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, four USB ports, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and SiriusXM satellite radio. The SR introduces a synthetic leather-wrapped steering wheel and unique sport cloth seats to its list of standard features. More amenities can be added via the optional SR Premium Package, which includes heated front seats, wireless phone charging, a moonroof, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and these infotainment upgrades: a 12.3-inch touchscreen, advanced voice recognition, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and navigation.

SL

The SL gets standard leather upholstery plus heated front seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, wireless phone charging, and a moonroof. Its infotainment system is upgraded with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, advanced voice recognition, navigation, and a nine-speaker Bose audio system. ProPilot Assist adaptive cruise control joins the safety technology suite along with intelligent lane intervention and traffic sign recognition.

SR VC-Turbo

Besides its namesake engine upgrade, the SR VC-Turbo gets leather upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging, moonroof, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, active noise cancellation technology, the turbocharged engine, and superior leather sport seats. The ultimate version of the infotainment system is standard, with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, advanced voice recognition, a nine-speaker Bose audio system, and navigation. This loaded trim also gets all of Nissan’s advanced driver-assist technologies, including ProPilot Assist adaptive cruise control, intelligent lane intervention, and traffic sign recognition.
