7,500-Mile Maintenance (or every 6 months)

Nissan recommends taking the Murano to the dealership every 7,500 miles or 6 months for the following services.

• Engine oil and filter replacement: The oil is the lubricant that keeps contaminants from entering the engine and ensures that the metal parts are protected from wear. The old oil must be drained so that fresh oil can be added. At the same time, a new filter is installed.
• Tire rotation: Rotating the tires helps the tread wear more evenly, allowing the entire set to last longer.

15,000-Mile Maintenance (or every year)

At this time, the 7,500-mile maintenance service is repeated, and the cabin air filter is changed as well.

22,500-Mile Maintenance

This visit is simply a repeat of the 7,500-mile service: the engine oil and filter will be replaced while the tires are rotated.

30,000-Mile Maintenance (or every 2 years)

Once your Murano has 30,000 miles on the odometer, the following services should be performed:

• Repeat 15,000-mile maintenance: The technicians will rotate the tires, replace the cabin air filter, and change the engine oil and filter.
• Brake fluid replacement: Old fluid can lead to degradation and moisture infiltration, so it must be replaced to maintain optimal stopping power.
• Engine air filter replacement: For the engine to run efficiently, clean air must be able to get through. Each 30,000-mile interval is the proper time to do this.

37,500-Mile Maintenance

During this service, everything from the 7,500-mile appointment is repeated. The engine oil and filter will be replaced while the tires are rotated.

45,000-Mile Maintenance (or every 3 years)

The Murano needs a repeat of the 15,000-mile maintenance (engine oil and filter change, air filter replacement, and tire rotation). At this time, the Intelligent Key battery is also replaced.

52,500-Mile Maintenance
