2024 Nissan Titan Maintenance Schedule
2024 Nissan Titan Maintenance Schedule
In this guide, we'll outline the essential service intervals and tasks necessary to keep your Titan running smoothly and reliably. Whether you're a seasoned owner or new to the Nissan family, this maintenance schedule will ensure that your vehicle receives the care it deserves, helping to maintain its performance, longevity, and resale value. From routine oil changes to tire rotations and inspections, we've got you covered every step of the way. Let's dive in and explore how you can keep your Nissan Titan operating at its best for years to come.
7,500-Mile Maintenance (or twice a year)
A Nissan Titan should be serviced every 7,500 miles or 6 months (whichever comes first) under usual driving conditions. If you drive in severe conditions or feel you put the truck through a lot, it may require more frequent service (our technicians can help determine this). Here are the items that are recommended at the first interval.
- Tire rotation: Rotating the tires helps to extend tread life. Our certified Nissan technicians will adhere to the correct tire rotation pattern for your Titan’s drivetrain.
- Engine oil and filter replacement: The oil must be drained and replaced with a new filter installed to keep normally accumulating contaminants at bay.
15,000-Mile Maintenance (or once a year)
During this visit, the standard 7,500-mile service is repeated. At this time, the technicians will also replace the in-cabin air filter.
22,500-Mile Maintenance
The 7,500-mile service (tire rotation and oil change) is repeated during this visit.
30,000-Mile Maintenance (or every 2 years)
This visit starts with engine oil and filter replacement, tire rotation, and in-cabin air filter replacement. Nissan also recommends replacing the engine air filters and brake fluid at this interval. If you have a Titan XD, the steering stopper cap should be lubricated as well.
37,500-Mile Maintenance
This is a simple visit with just a tire rotation and engine oil/filter change.
45,000-Mile Maintenance (or every 3 years)
Since this is an interval of 15,000 miles, the scheduled service visit will include engine oil and filter replacement, cabin air filter replacement, and tire rotation. It’s also time to have the Intelligent Key battery replaced.
52,500-Mile Maintenance
All that’s needed now is a standard 7,500-mile service, including a change of the engine oil and filter, along with a tire rotation.
60,000-Mile Maintenance (or every 4 years)
This visit is a redo of a 30,000-mile interval, with the following tasks performed:
- Change engine oil and filter
- Rotate tires
- Replace the engine air filter
- Drain and replace brake fluid
- Replace the in-cabin air filter
- Lubricate steering stopper cap (XD only)
67,500-Mile Maintenance
This simple appointment will consist of a standard tire rotation and regular engine oil/filter change and replacement of the Intelligent Key battery.
75,000-Mile Maintenance (or every 5 years)
As another 15,000-mile interval maintenance service, your Titan will undergo an engine oil/filter change, a tire rotation, and cabin air filter replacement.
82,500-Mile Maintenance
This visit calls for just an engine oil/filter change with a tire rotation.
90,000-Mile Maintenance (or every 6 years)
At this milestone, it’s time for this list of service items:
- Engine oil and filter change
- Tire rotation
- Engine air filter replacement
- Brake fluid replacement
- Lubrication of steering stopper cap (XD only)
- In-cabin air filter replacement
- Intelligent Key battery replacement
97,500-Mile Maintenance
Another basic service is required here, with our technicians rotating the tires and replacing the engine oil and filter.
105,000-Mile Maintenance (or every 7 years)
This crucial service visit will cover a mix of routine and first-time maintenance tasks:
- Engine oil and filter change
- Tire rotation
- Engine coolant replacement
- In-cabin air filter replacement
- Installation of fresh spark plugs
Regular Inspections (Every Visit)
While Nissan technicians are focused on performing the above jobs during a visit, they also keep a close eye on your Titan for signs of developing issues. Depending on your odometer reading, these are some of the systems and components that are evaluated when it’s in for service:
- Fuel tank vapor vent system
- Fluids (windshield wiper, automatic transmission, coolant, brake, power steering, etc.)
- Axle/suspension parts
- Horn
- Lights and signals
- Brake system (lines, pads, rotors, cables, etc.)
- Tires (pressure, tread depth, wear)
- Exhaust system
- Battery
- Steering gear/linkage
- Engine drive belt
- Intelligent Key battery
- Fuel system (lines/connections)
