When it comes to the simple comforts and convenience of a vehicle, the little things seem to be overlooked. Small touches like an express up window control comes standard on the Rogue, but not on the Ford Escape. When it comes to keeping you charged an connected, the Rogue gives you three 12-volt DC power outlets, which is more than the Honda CR-V, and for ease of use, the Rogue has a first row LCD monitor, which isn't even available on the Hyundai Tuscon.
An extremely helpful feature on the 2015 Rogue is the low tire pressure monitor, which not only lets you know when one of your tires needs to be inflated, but it actually lets you know which tires need air. You won't find that on the Escape, CR-V, or Genesis. Another simple yet welcome feature on the Rogue is that it let's you know the outside temperature from inside your vehicle, which is something you won't find on the CR-V or Tuscon.
The simple convienent features aren't limited to just the interior, as the Rogue features LED daytime running lights that let you see and be seen at all times of the day and isn't found on the CR-V or Tucson, and none of the competitors feature driver and passenger side turn signal indicators that are located in the side view mirror.
It isn't all simple pleasures, though, when talking about how the Rogue stacks up against the competition. The 2015 Nissan Rogue has 170 horsepower, which beats both the Ford Escape and Hyundai Tucson, and its 175 foot-pounds of torque is more than the Tucson as well. The Rogue also has a 2.5-liter in-line four cylinder engine, while the CR-V boasts only a 2.4-liter engine and the Tucson only has a 2.0 liter engine.
If you're talking interior cargo volume, you're talking the Rogue, which offers 39.3 cubic-ft of cargo space, which is nearly four more cubic feet than the nearest competitor. The 70.0 cubic-ft of maximum cargo space offered by the Rogue also beats the Escape and Tucson again. For your passengers, the Rogue offers 106 cubic-ft of passenger volume for comfortable seating, which is two feet more than the Honda CR-V and eight more feet than the Ford Escape.
