Performance

The 2019 Sentra's 1.8 L DOHC engine block produces 130 horsepower at 6,000 RPM. Tuned for dynamic handling, the 1.6 L Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) engine kicks out 188 hp. When the tachometer exceeds 5,200 RPM, this turbo engine whips out 177 lb-ft of torque. If you want a classic feel behind the steering wheel, select a trim with a six-speed manual transmission. Do you prefer limitless gear options? Then get a model that's equipped with the Xtronic CVT. The Manual Shift Mode is standard in the SR Turbo's CVT system. This aggressive model also has the Active Understeer Control and a sport-tuned suspension system. Fuel economy in the Sentra could be optimized with the push of the Eco Mode button. The Sport Mode sharpens the drivetrain, transmission and powertrain.

Interior

Illuminated by electroluminescent technology, the Fine Vision gauge meters are covered in chrome accents. The 5.0-inch Advanced Drive-Assist Display is centrally located in the instrument cluster. If you focus on the central console, you'll see the 7.0-inch NissanConnect infotainment system. Crisp graphics appear on the touch screen, which receives data from GPS navigation software, rearview camera and other electronic systems. Text messages, podcasts and maps from your iPhone could appear on the multimedia monitor if you activate Apple Carplay. Google apps from your Android smartphone could be mirrored through the Android Auto system. You can entertain everyone in the Sentra with music on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Eight premium speakers by Bose are optional in the SR Turbo and standard in the NISMO. Dual subwoofers are integrated into this signature sound system. Heated front seats and dual-zone climate control are some convenient amenities that are also available in this Nissan sedan.

Safety

By tracking the real-time distance between the 2019 Sentra and another car that's in front, the Automatic Emergency Braking might prevent an accident. Your risk of getting into a collision with a vehicle in another lane is reduced by the Blind Spot Warning.
